Job Summary

Assist the Warehouse Supervisor to receive and issue finished products and keep accurate records on stock situation to facilitate the business operations within the framework of the company’s policies and work procedures.

Job Details

The Warehouse Officer shall be responsible for:

  • Receive finished products from production, Process Pick list, Waybills or Delivery notes and supply finished goods to distributors based on Sales Order in ERP system (SAP 1) processed by the Commercial Department.
  • Keep accurate records of all stock movements to facilitate the manufacture of the various brands and conduct daily stock count and reconcile with the ERP system (SAP 1)
  • Be responsible for either the inbound or outbound activities in the warehouse and ensure proper stocks rotation and control to enhance FIFO, FEFO or LIFO
  • Liaise with the production team daily to ascertain all production plans in preparation to receiving finished products.
  • Verify and reconcile daily with production all products released to warehouse, transferred to ERP system (SAP 1) and signed off.
  • Conduct periodic (Daily, Monthly & Annual) physical stock count and reconcile with the ERP system (SAP 1).

Requirements

Skills and Attributes Required:

  • Ability to analyze large amounts of data
  • Effective communication and report writing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; to work with and manage a team.
  • Ability to work independently and with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, Excel and Power Point
  • Ability to work extra hours as may be required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of an ERP system (SAP 1).
  • A conscious SAFETY champion at all levels of operation.

 

Qualification:

  • A degree/HND in Supply Chain Management or related.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ post national service experience in Warehouse/Stores Management.
  • An exposure to an FMCG operations a plus
