Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Workshop Supervisor, the Auto Electrician shall work with both external partners and inhouse teams to ensure the Company's fleet are in good condition (electrical wise), whiles ensuring the Company gets value for money on all transactions.
Job Details
The Auto Electrician shall be responsible for:
- To undertake diagnosis (electrical) of all company fleet and provide/propose appropriate solution.
- To provide technical support to Stores and Procurement Depts in sourcing materials or spare parts.
- To undertake repair works (electrical) of forklifts, pallet trucks and sales vans at the company’s workshop.
- Coordinate and control all outside maintenance/repair work on company vehicles.
- Submit monthly reports to capture all jobs successfully processed in the company’s workshop and outside and review same with the Workshop Supervisor.
- Coordinate efforts on vehicle modification as and when needed.
- To take charge of all activities within his/her domain at the workshop with respect to workflow, material usage and documentation.
- Collate and review all check sheets with the Workshop Supervisor with the view of determining serviceability of the vehicles.
- Provide or ensure support in case of breakdown around the clock.

- Strong analytical skills, and attention to details.
- Advance vehicle behavioural knowledge and maintenance skills.
- A conscious SAFETY champion at all levels of operation.
Qualification:
- Mechanical / Electrical Engineering Technician Part III
- MVTI PART II OR III
- 3 years relevant experience
- Valid Ghanaian driver’s license; minimum Class B
